Herbert Honold

IRON RIVER — Herbert G. Honold, 73, passed away on Thursday, January 11, 2024, at Florence Health Services in Florence, Wis. A visitation will be held on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 10:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m. at the Grace Covenant Church in Iron River. A memorial service will follow at 11 a.m. with Pastor Mike Poindexter to officiate. Interment will be in Stambaugh Cemetery. The family suggests memorial donations to Grace Covenant Church in Herb’s memory. Funeral arrangements by Jacobs Funeral Home inc. of Iron River.

Patrick Ross

PORT CHARLOTTE, Fla.— Patrick C. “Pat” Ross, 94, passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 28, 2024 in Port Charlotte.  A service and interment will be held at a later date in the Upper Peninsula.   In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Ross Family Scholarship Fund, c/o The Foundation for Educational Opportunity at West Iron County Schools, P.O. William Rucinski

LANSING — Bill, 92, passed away on Wednesday, April 25, 2024 in Lansing, after a problem with a previously repaired abdominal aortic aneurysm. A special thank you to all of the staff at Sparrow Hospice House at the St. Lawrence campus for their compassionate and dedicated care to their patients as well as the families. A cremation has occurred and a service will be held at a future date in the Upper Peninsula.

Lyle Wiencek

CRYSTAL FALLS — Lyle Dale Wiencek, 85, passed away Thursday, April 25, 2024, at Florence Health Services. Visitation took place May 1 at Nash Funeral Home in Crystal Falls. Funeral services were held at Guardian Angels Catholic Church at 11 a.m. Fr. Daniel DaPaah will offer the Mass of Christian Burial. The Eastside Veterans Council will accord military rights at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery.
