Mavis Remondini
IRON RIVER — Mavis M. Remondini, age 85, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021, at UP Health System-Marquette.
    She was born on May 10, 1935, in Stambaugh, the daughter of the late Matthew and Isabella (Buckman) Ambrose, Sr. She attended the Stambaugh schools, graduating with the class of 1953.
    Mavis married Clement “Clem” Remondini on Feb. 13, 1954, at St. Cecilia Catholic Church in Caspian. The couple celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary in 2004. Clem preceded her in death on Feb. 24, 2004.  
    She was employed at Coleman Products and F.W. Means.  Mavis was a member of Grace Covenant Church. She loved folk and country music and spending time with family and friends and just being around people.
    Mavis is survived by her son, Shane (Jayne) Remondini of Gaastra; brother, Robert (Carolyn) Ambrose of Bowie, Texas; sisters, Agnes (William) Hoglund of Palatine, Ill., Patricia (Norman) Donnini of Hastings, and Faye Pigeon of Gaastra; grandchildren, Stephen Remondini and Shelby (Scott) Shepich; great-grandson, Ethan Shepich; special friend, Tristin Caswell and family; nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.
    She was also preceded in death by her daughter, Deborah Remondini; and brothers, Matthew, Jr. and David Ambrose and Arthur Coumans.
    Private family services will be held.
    Interment will be in Stambaugh Cemetery.

IRON RIVER — Ginger H. LaRock, age 76, passed away on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021 at Froedtert Hospital in Milwaukee, Wis. Diana Raiha
CUDAHY, Wis. — Diana A. Raiha, age 78, passed away on Sunday, Jan. 31, 2021. Due to COVID, there will be private family services. Funeral arrangements are by Church and Chapel Funeral Home in Cudahy.

Michael Sloat
REEDSBURG, Wis. — Michael Roland Sloat, age 71, passed away from a hard-fought battle with cancer, at home surrounded by family, on Tuesday, Feb. 2, 2021.  A memorial visitation will be held on Friday, Feb. 12 at the Farber Funeral Home in Reedsburg beginning at noon until the time of a Prayer Service which will be held at 2 p.m. Rev. Patrick Wendler, Pastor of Sacred Heart Catholic Church will be the celebrant. Farber Funeral Home is assisting the family with arrangements.

Gary Buhro, Sr.

Patricia Robichaud
CRYSTAL FALLS — Patricia Robichaud, 82, a resident at the Iron County Medical Care Facility and from Crystal Falls, passed away on Jan. 27, 2021, at Aspirus Hospital in Iron River from complications from COVID-19. A memorial service and burial at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery will happen at a later date when we can gather together again safely. Memorials may be made in her memory.
