NEGAUNEE — Aaron Lee Ball, 47, passed away Saturday, Sept. 23, 2023, at his home. Visitation will take place on Tuesday, Oct. 3, at the Nash Funeral Home and Cremation Services in Crystal Falls from 9 a.m. until time of services at 11 a.m. Father Dan Malone will officiate.  Burial will take place at Evergreen Memorial Cemetery. Condolences to the family of Aaron Lee Ball may be expressed online at www.nashfuneralhome.net. CEDAR — Dennis Arnold Hanson, 76, passed away on Friday Sept. 22, 2023. Brian Holmberg

GAASTRA — Brian R. Holmberg, 45, passed away on Monday, Sept. 18, 2023, at Aurora BayCare Medical Center in Green Bay, Wis., after a courageous battle with cancer.  A visitation will be held on Saturday, Oct. 7, from 1 – 2 p.m. at the Cornerstone Bible Church in Iron River.  A memorial service will follow at 2 p.m.  Condolences may be expressed to the family of Brian R. Elvira Mitchell

CASPIAN — Elvira R. Mitchell, 96, passed away on Monday, Sept. 25, 2023, at Aspirus Iron River Hospital. Funeral service will be held on Friday, Oct. 6, 2023, at 11 a.m. at St. Cecilia Catholic Church with Fr. Edward Puckett

IRON RIVER — Edward J. "Eddie" Puckett, 44, passed away unexpectedly, Monday, Sept. 18, 2023. He was born in Iron River, Nov. 7, 1978, son of the late Herman L. Puckett Sr. and Susan (Kunath) Puckett-Ehlers. A celebration of his life will be held at a later date.

Anthony Swenski

IRON RIVER — Anthony “Tony” Joseph Swenski, born Dec. 15, 1955, to Lila and Chester Swenski Sr., died Sept. 24, 2023, at the age of 67. Per Tony’s wishes, there will be a private burial. Condolences can be sent to Lila Culver at the Iron County Medical Care Facility.
