MCMILLAN — Lorraine I. Applin, 96, passed away on Sunday, Oct. 15, 2023, at Helen Newberry Joy Hospital in Newberry. A visitation will be held on Tuesday, Oct. 24, from 9:30 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. at the Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. Funeral service will follow at 11 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church with Fr. POWERS — Archie Louis Brigman, (Snuffy) Jr., 80, passed away on Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023, under the care of Pinecrest Medical Care Facility, Powers. A Celebration of life will be held on Oct. 28 at noon at American Legion, 212 Washington Ave., Iron River. ELKHORN, Wis. — Krista J. Clark, 72, passed away after a long battle with kidney and liver disease on Wednesday, Oct. 11, 2023 at Aurora St. Luke's Medical Center, Milwaukee, Wis. Visitation was held Oct. 18 at Haase-Lockwood & Associates Funeral Homes and Crematory, followed by the funeral service. Kassa, 91, passed away on Thursday, Oct. 12, 2023, at the Iron River Care Center. A graveside service was held on Tuesday, Oct. 17, at 10:30 a.m. at Stambaugh Cemetery with Al Smith to officiate. COOPERSVILLE — Nancy Karen Young, 82, went home to be with her Lord and Saviour Tuesday, Oct. 10, 2023.  In keeping with her wish cremation has taken place.
