WATERSMEET — Nancy G. Pete, age 65, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Aug. 11, 2020, at her home.

Nancy was born on Jan. 18, 1955 in Crystal Falls. She was preceded in death by her loving parents Arthur and Sonya (Hiltonen)

Nancy was a former student of the Forest Park Schools in Crystal Falls.

Nancy and Patrick Pete wed on March 5, 1993, in Crystal Falls. The couple recently celebrated their 27th wedding anniversary this spring. Together they built a loving home and enjoyed their time together. Nancy and Patrick also continued to raise their granddaughter, Maureen, who has thrived under their loving care and supervision.

She was employed at the Lac Vieux Desert Cenex Gas Station for many years. She was adored for her presence and sense of humor. Nancy was a member of the Bethany Lutheran Church in Amasa. She enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren, decorating around her home and going to the casino. She was loved by all who knew her.

Nancy is survived by her husband, Patrick; daughters, Julie Ketola (Michael Besiak) of Amasa, Joette (David) Pete Baldwin of Chicago, Ill., Collette Pete (Jason Jackson) of Watersmeet, Lynn Pete (Andres Alamilla) of Milwaukee, Wis., and Patricia Pete (Keith Birdsbill) of Lac Du Flambeau, Wis.; sisters, Christine (Ken) Peltoma of Iron Mountain, Arline Ketola-Hund of Crystal Falls, Donna (Jamie) Sjoquist and Rachel Ketola, both of Amasa; grandchildren, Ashley Lambert, Michael Anderson, Shanna Jackson, Nicolasa Alamilla, Mindy McPherson, David Baldwin III, Joette Baldwin II, Damen Baldwin, Bethany Baldwin, Elijah Baldwin, Ericka Tokarczyk, Craig McGeshick, Trent McGeshick, Maureen McGeshick and Genevieve Jackson; greatgrandchildren, Aiden Anderson, Trentin Lambert, Autumn Anderson, Aubree Welty, Wyatt Jackson, Paisley Vantroba, Colton Stelle, Carter Baldwin, Shay Baldwin, Mila Baldwin, Charlotte Baldwin, Journey Fox, Brandi Tokarczyk, Jocelin Tokarczyk, Brynlee Tokarczyk and Kaylee Tokarczyk; and many nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
