Wreaths Across America ceremony in Iron River

The West Side Veterans participated in Wreaths Across America on Dec. 19 in Iron River. The ceremony took place at 11 a.m. to correspond with the presenting of wreaths at Arlington National Cemetery at noon Eastern. Each December on National Wreaths Across America Day, the mission to “Remember, Honor and Teach” is carried out by coordinating wreath-laying ceremonies at Arlington, as well as at more than 2,100 additional locations in all 50 U.S. states, at sea and abroad.
