IRON RIVER — The December Open Mic Night at the Windsor Center, Dec. 16 at 7 p.m.,  is shaping up to be a Christmas and folk musical showcase. The evening will feature familiar performers including James F. Detlaff, Jane Adams, Sue Omdahl, Marc Ralston and Kevin Johnson as well as emcee, Erika Sauter.

Coming back to the stage after a several year break  is White Water, a folk band made up of Dean and Bette Premo, and their friends Emma, Carrie and Susan Dlutkowski and David Harmon. The Dlutkowsi girls are fiddlers and also skilled in Canadian step-dancing. “This is going to be such a special night,” said Sauter. “Our audience can expect to be moved and awed by all of the talented musicians who are preparing for their performances!”

Bette Premo echoed Sauter’s enthusiasm. “We were thrilled when Erika invited us to perform for the Dec. 16 event,” she said. “We all look forward to sharing some music with friends.”

The December Open Mic Night is sponsored by the Italian Ladies Society. The Windsor Center is located at 612 W. Adams Street. Doors open at 6:30 p.m. and a $3 donation per person is requested for attendees ages 13 and older. For more information, contact Erika Sauter at egsauter@gmail.com or call 906-284-0647.
