Stephens Real Estate of Iron Mountain has announced the acquisition of Wild Rivers Realty, which operated offices in Iron Mountain, Florence and Iron River.

“Stephens has been serving the residents of Florence and Iron Counties for many years, so having a physical presence there was the next natural progression,” noted Ryan Gordon, broker and owner of Stephens Real Estate. “This growth positions Stephens as one of the top real estate firms in the entire Upper Peninsula, not only in sales volume, but in number of agents.”

Joining the Stephens team are Associate Brokers Chase Erickson, Jill Ponozzo and Stephen Remondini; Realtors Sarah Waterbury-Hernandez and Kerstyn Burke; and office managers Laura Harvath and Stacy Sucholl. They will now have access to the high quality of training, technology and sophisticated marketing programs that Stephens provides.

Wild Rivers Realty was established in Florence, Wisconsin in 1995 by Chase Erickson. In 2023, the company had a combined $41.6 million in sales volume with 311 closed transactions across their three locations.

Similarly, Stephens Real Estate is marking their 45th anniversary in 2024, having evolved through the decades to become the largest independently owned brokerage in the area. They have been ranked as the MLS’ top-selling area office every year since 2009 including $58.5 million in sales volume and 325 closed transactions in 2023.

In addition to Stephens’ main office in Iron Mountain, their two new branch offices are at 727 Central Avenue in Florence and 426 N. Cedar Avenue in Iron River.
