IRON RIVER – The Iron County Economic Chamber Alliance has announced a fifth round of its Fast Track Grant Program, with applications due June 3 at noon.

The program offers up to $2,500 to start-up businesses selected by the ICECA’s business development committee which includes its board trustees, county residents and municipal officials. This is the third year the ICECA is offering the grant program, with two rounds of funding each year.

Businesses must submit a comprehensive business plan in order to receive funding.

“The ICECA is seeking businesses that will create jobs, have the potential to complement other businesses and the community, and are not similar to an existing business located in the same city or township,” the application guidelines read.

Applications are available at ironmi.org. Questions can be directed to ICECA Director Zach Hautala at zach@iron.org.
