The Forest Park class of 2021 celebrated its commencement on May 30 at Dick Mettlach Field with the graduation of 24 seniors. Lea LaChapelle was valedictorian and Amya Johnson, who offered the welcome address, was salutatorian. The band performed Queen’s Bohemian Rhapsody. Principal Jackie Giuliani presented diplomas and flowers before LaChapelle issued the class farewell. The class flower was a yellow orchid, which signifies friendship and new beginnings. The class motto was, “It matters not what you thought to be, but what you are,” from Publilius Syrus.
