Forest Park board ends township tour

CRYSTAL FALLS—At its annual organization meeting Jan. 3, the Forest Park School Board agreed to stop regular meetings at township halls.
This year, all meetings will be held at the school building in Crystal Falls. Why? Lack of interest among township residents.
For years, the School Board has held its October meeting in Amasa, its November meeting at Mastodon Township and the December session in Mansfield Township.
But hardly anyone from the townships has been attending those meetings except the township officials in charge of opening and closing the hall.
