Nancy Nelson

BATES TOWNSHIP — Nancy Jo Nelson, 87, passed away at home on Saturday, April 13, 2024.  Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 23, 2024, from 9:30 - 10:45 a.m. at Jacobs Funeral Home of Iron River. Funeral services will follow at 11:00 a.m. at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Iron River with Rev. Daniel Fosu to offer the Mass of Christian Burial. Interment will follow at Bates Township Cemetery. The family would like to especially thank the staff at Aspirus Hospice and Jill Nocerini, DNP for their love, care and devotion. William Palmer

HAYDEN, Idaho — William “Bill” R. Palmer, 89, formerly of Iron River, passed away on March 5, 2024, in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho. A graveside service will be held on Saturday May 4, 2024, at 10:15 a.m. at Resthaven Cemetery with Fr. Daniel Fosu to officiate. The West Side Veterans will accord Military Rites at the graveside. David Seppala

CRYSTAL FALLS — David Charles Seppala passed away on April 12, 2024, at the age of 80. He grew up in Amasa and attended the Amasa School until its closing. Visitation was held April 19 at the Nash Funeral Home and Cremation Services of Crystal Falls. Pastor Vicky Prewitt officiated. Burial will take place at Evergreen Cemetery. BULLARD, Texas — David John Uren passed away February 21, 2024 at Mother Frances Hospital in Tyler, Texas. A private service and celebration of life was held.
