WIC to deliver thanks to vets

IRON RIVER — In lieu of its usual Veterans Day breakfast and program, West Iron County will deliver thank you messages to veterans this year.
    West Iron asks that veterans call the office at 265-5184 with their names and physical addresses. Vets can call between 7 a.m. and 3:30 p.m. until Nov. 13. The messages will be delivered the following week.
    Vets can also email their name and physical address to WIC teacher Kristi Berutti at kberutti@westiron.org.
    Neither West Iron nor the East Side Veterans Council will have Veterans Day programs at the county schools this year due to the COVID-19 pandemic and restrictions.
