CRYSTAL FALLS — The Crystal Falls District Community Library will run Halloween story hours on Saturday, Oct. 31.
Director Evelyn Gathu said that due to the current restrictions on gathering size, the library will have story hours with four children at a time to allow for social distancing. Masks will be required.
“Children will get to listen to some scary and silly Halloween tales along with making a craft,” Gathu said. “Therefore, children will be able to take away their treat and juice box.”
Children will also get to take home a Halloween book to keep for their home library.
For those interested in having their child/children attend a Halloween story hour, call 875-3344 or email egathu@uproc.lib.mi.us to reserve a space.
“We ask that only one parent accompanies the child/children to the event. Thank you for understanding our necessary precautions, and we hope that you can join us at the library on Halloween morning.”
