IRON RIVER — The West Iron District Library is now open to the public, Monday-Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. with no appointments needed.
Capacity is limited and masks are required due to current state restrictions. Both main entrances are open, and patrons are encouraged to use the outdoor book drops when returning items.
There are five public computers available to allow for spacing during use. The library will continue to provide take-home craft kits for all ages and virtual programming.
“We have added extra safety and cleaning measures to ensure that patrons can feel comfortable during their visit to the library,” said assistant director and program coordinator Stephanie Swenski.
Curbside services will continue as well. Requested items can be picked up at the courtyard gate from 1-4 p.m. each day.  Call 265-2831 for more information.
“We look forward to your visit!” Swenski said.
