Wink’s Woods in Crystal Falls celebrated its annual open house on Nov. 17 with horse-drawn wagon rides and a visit from Santa. The local gift shop featured many holiday items and had hot cider and food samples for customers.

4-point buck

Logan McCord, 9, shot this 4-pointer on Saturday, Sept. 20.  He was hunting with his dad, David, on their property in Stambaugh Township. He passed on a smaller 4-point buck earlier in the day.

WU Youth Hunt buck

Justin Dye, 13, had a successful hunt as a participant of the Wildlife Unlimited of Iron County Youth Hunt. He harvested a 4-point buck on Sept. 20 while hunting with WU mentor Louie Noteboom.
