IRON RIVER — Locker Lunch and CoVantage Cares Foundation will host two spaghetti dinner fundraisers in December.
The dinners will be held from 3-6 p.m. on both Dec. 6 and Dec. 13. Cost for the to-go pre-made dinners will be $10 each. Pickup for the Dec. 6 meal will be at Dina Mia Kitchens in Iron River. Pickup for the Dec. 13 meal will be at Forest Park schools in Crystal Falls.
The dinner will include spaghetti with Dina Mia’s meat sauce, Dina Mia Italian sausage link, tossed salad, bread and dessert.
Those ordering will be asked to wait in their vehicles and volunteers will assist with meal pick-up. Tickets are available online at iclockerlunch.wixsite.com/lockerlunch or by contacting Sue Fritz at 906-284-0856.
Locker Lunch is a nonprofit organization that packs and provides weekend food for 161 school-aged children in the Iron County area. CoVantage Cares Foundation selected Locker Lunch to be the recipient of its annual Giving Tuesday campaign. Money raised from Dec. 1-15 has the opportunity to be matched.
