Tradition carried on in non-traditional fashion

First place winner in the Crystal Christmas Ice Shack Parade float competition was, for the third year in a row, Team Hegstrom and Lesandrini. This year’s parade theme was “A Christmas Story.” The participants lined their floats along the side streets for spectators and judges rather than rolling down Superior Avenue in Crystal Falls.
