IRON RIVER — The 14th season of Open Mic Night at the Windsor Center will kick off Saturday, April 27 at 7 p.m. Open Mic Night is a showcase of local musicians playing nearly every genre of music on a variety of instruments. Past performers have ranged in age from children to octogenarians.

“You never know what you’re going to hear at an Open Mic Night,” said coordinator, Erika Sauter, “but you know for sure you’re going to have a great time!”

The kick-off show is already starting to fill up, with a brand new band on the docket from Alvin, Wisconsin that includes Dave and Linda Monson, long-time Open Mic supporters. There are still openings for musicians for this show and the other shows slated for this season, the dates of which are as follows: April 27, May 25, June 29, July 27, August 31, October 26 and December 14.

“We have some amazing local talent here in Iron County and the surrounding area, and we’re looking forward to a great season ahead,” Sauter said.
