IAHF meets with Student Leadership group

IRON COUNTY - The Iron Area Health Foundation (IAHF) recently met with Student Leadership groups for student wellness from both West Iron County and Forest Park. The purpose of the meeting was to review health survey data and to get student input on health and wellness perceptions within their school district and community. The discussion centered on how the students and the Foundation can collaborate on initiatives to enhance social, emotional, mental and physical health for all students in both local school districts. During the meeting targeted areas of needed improvement were discussed as well as possible solutions and programs to improve the targeted areas of concern. The Foundation will meet again with the Student Leadership groups in March to move forward with development of goals and strategies to enhance the culture and connections for all students in both school districts.
