CRYSTAL FALLS—Forest Park’s volleyball team got its intra-conference season off to a fine start Aug. 27, as the team rolled over Carney-Nadeau 3-0. Scores were 25-14, 25-23 and 25-11.

CHANNING—The Sagola Township Sportsmen Club will host the 2015 Pistol Tournament on Aug. 29. The event will be held at the clubhouse at W8470 Sawyer Lake Road in Channing and will begin at 10 a.m.
