Vets’ dinner at Snipe Lake Pub

IRON RIVER—Snipe Lake Pub and Grill will be holding a spaghetti and baked chicken dinner on Sunday, Nov. 10, from noon until close.
The cost is $6.95 and all proceeds will go to the Homeless Veterans Fund.

IRON MOUNTAIN—The fourth annual Military Appreciation Extravaganza, sponsored by the Dickinson area Christian Women’s Connection, was held at Pine Grove Country Club on Oct. 10 before a crowd of over 200.

Trick or treaters try their hands at pumpkin bowling in the hallway of the Porter School Market Place during Pumpkin Fest on Oct. 26 in Alpha. Overseeing the bowling game was Sandra Maki, left, who was helping out during the event. The costumed family were visiting in the Pentoga area with their grandparents Dave and Sue Burlingham of Fond du Lac, Wis.

‘Storybook’ theme for Holiday in Lights

IRON RIVER—The annual Holiday in Lights celebration and Christmas Parade will take place on Saturday, Dec. 7. The theme for this year’s parade is “Storybook Christmas,”announced the Iron County Chamber of Commerce and the Iron River Downtown Development Association.

 
Galleria theme: ‘Joy to the World’

CASPIAN—The theme for the 24th annual Christmas Tree Galleria at the Iron County Museum is “Joy to the World.” The Galleria will run from Saturday, Nov. 9, to Sunday, Nov. 17. During the Galleria, with about 40 beautifully decorated trees will be on display.
