CASPIAN—“Dollar a Day Boys,” a musical tribute to the Civilian Conservation Corps (CCC), is the first Thursday Evening at the Museum program to be held at the Iron County Museum in 2013.

IRON RIVER—The Iron County Chamber of Commerce will host its second annual Sale Trail and Flea Market on Saturday, June 15. Follow the Sale Trail throughout Iron River area and flea market at the chamber.

ALPHA—Beginning this month, Mary Ellen Marchinowski will be reading adventurous stories to eager student listeners every Saturday.

IRON RIVER—Summer is around the corner, which means that plans are being made for the summer reading club to meet at the West Iron District Library.

CASPIAN—The first special program scheduled as part of “Thursday Evenings at the Museum,” will take place May 16 at the Iron County Museum.

IRON RIVER—The kickoff event for Iron County’s 100+ Women Who Care will be held Wednesday, May 22, at George Young Recreational Complex. Registration begins at 5 p.m. (pre-registration is preferred), and the meeting will begin promptly at 6.

CRYSTAL FALLS—The Crystal Falls Library has announced it has started an heirloom vegetable garden seed bank exchange.
