CASPIAN—The study committee on “What Women Have Contributed to the Growth of Iron County,” as homemakers, business owners, professional occupations, politically and especially through volunteerism, has been a project of the Iron County Historical and Museum Society for almost a year.

IRON RIVER—In response to the great public support for the “Always Patsy Cline” concert last summer, the Friends of Camp Batawagama (FOCB) have decided to sponsor two “Elvis is in the Building” concerts this summer on July 10 and July 12 at the Windsor Center.

The Glacial Gardeners Master Gardener Association helped youngsters get their seed planting started for summertime flowers at the Windsor Center’s Spring Craft and Garden Show on Saturday, March 23. Iron Conservation District and MSU Extension Service also offered activities for young gardeners.
