ALPHA—The Alpha Historical Museum is now open for the season. The museum is open June through August on Saturdays from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. and by special appointment.

Women from across the county along with visitors and campers gathered at Bewabic State Park on June 18 for the Total Woman in the Outdoors program, sponsored by the park and NorthStar Health System. Those who chose to go out onto the water at Fortune Lake were given lessons in kayaking and paddle boarding.
