The Ice Hawks brought home the Michigan Athletic Hockey Association Pee Wee B state title by defeating St. Ignace 8-1 in the state finals on March 23 in Midland. West Iron’s fifth grade girls basketball team brought home another championship at the Marquette Sharp Shooters Classic, held recently at Northern Michigan University. The fifth graders were unbeaten at the tourney.
