CRYSTAL FALLS—At last! The preliminaries are over! Let the post-season begin!
Forest Park’s basketball team wrapped up its regular season here Feb. 20 with a 65-22 win over Rapid River. The game was delayed 24 hours by snow and blowing snow, but that seems fitting. Forces of nature are the only thing that has gotten in the Lady Trojans’ way for quite a while.

IRON RIVER—His West Iron boys basketball team took Coach Dan Schive to the movies last week. As they won all three games, the Wykons reminded him of a classic Bill Murray film.

CRYSTAL FALLS—Any coach’s goal is to have his team playing its best when the post-season starts. To judge by how Forest Park’s girls team last week, Coach Jeff Syrjanen has to feel ready.
