Italians top tough Swedes on 12th inning home run

The Italians had to battle 12 exciting innings in order to claim their second straight Wop-Swede victory by a 13-11 score during Bass Festival at Runkle Lake Park on July 6. Polich’s ice team wins silver at state

IRON RIVER—Ally Jo Polich of Iron River was a member of a Michigan North under 19 girls hockey team that was silver medalist during the Meijer State Games, held in late June in the Grand Rapids area.
