To the editor:
This letter is in response to the article in the Iron County Reporter dated Aug. 28, 2013. I tend to disagree with Mr. Sachek’s thinking.

‘Really are angels among us’
To the editor:
I would like to recognize the noble generosity, compassion and true humanitarianism of a few local people.  We have spent the last seven years on a very terrifying and exhausting medical journey with our 12 year old son.

‘With our utmost gratitude’
To the editor:
On behalf of Jim Johnson and I, we wish to express our heartfelt thanks to the Stambaugh American Legion Reino Post 21 and Commander Gary Lane for sponsoring us at the “Riders for Veterans” celebration on Saturday, May 25, in honor of Memorial Day. It certainly was a great tribute!
The “Riders for Veterans” presented each of us a wonderful plaque dedicating the 2013 Veteran Tribute Ride to our World War II and Korean veterans. It reads as follows: “When you go home, tell them of us, and say for your tomorrow, we gave our today.”
We can’t thank you enough; you will never be forgotten!
