IRON RIVER—It’s time to register for the fifth annual RAIC  Golf Scramble, presented by Global Response.
The scramble takes place Friday, July 11, at Iron River Country Club. Registration is at noon, with golfing starting at 1 p.m.
RAIC is the Recreation Association of Iron County, a not-for-profit organization whose mission is to develop low-cost year-round activities for the community. The group earlier worked with Connor Sports to build indoor bocce courts at the Windsor Center. Recently, it purchased pickleball equipment and introduced the game in Iron County.
Its goal is to have a facility housing multiple activities.
Each team at the scramble will consist of four players, either men, women or any combination. The entry fee is $220 per team ($55 per player or $50 for members of the country club.)
The first place team wins a prize, and so does a team drawn at random. Every team will receive prizes for participating.
To register, sign up at the country club. For more information, contact Mark Melchiori (265-3161) or Dennis Margoni (265-2348).
