Colton Pangrazzi kicks it into high gear at the head of the main stretch of the 400-meter run at the West Pac Conference meet May 21.
IRON RIVER—In its final event before this Saturday’s U.P. Finals, West Iron County’s girls track team kept up its pace, speeding to first place at the West Pac Conference Tournament, held at Nelson Field on May 21.
The Wykon boys team took fourth place. It was the final competition before the Division 2 U.P. Finals, taking place at Kingsford on May 31.
The West Iron girls’ latest triumph ended with a total of 136 team points, 48 points ahead of second place Calumet, which scored 88. Houghton was third at 71.
