The harvest of this wild turkey by Andrew Papatriantafyllou in the Sunset Lake area began on the morning of May 10 with the use of a turkey call. β€œI called him in from over 300 yards; had him running down the pipeline.” He was using a custom glass friction call. β€œHe ended up walking behind me. I turned him back my way using cutts and purrs.” The shot was made at 8:10 a.m. at 23 yards with a Beneli M2 20 gauge. The bird weighed 20-pounds, had a 9-inch beard and 1-inch spurs.
