IRON RIVER—The Iron River Police Department reported that it has solved four breaking-and-entering crimes that have occurred in the city since April 28.
The department said it was able to recover the stolen property from these break-ins and charges against several suspects are pending.
The IRPD was assisted by the Iron County Sheriff’s Department in one of the investigations.
Also, Iron River Police Chief Laura Frizzo reported that the department seized 14 marijuana plants from a city residence on May 17 after officers detected a strong odor of marijuana in the residence.
Charges are pending against two suspects from the residence.
The Michigan State Police Iron Mountain Post assisted in this matter.
