CRYSTAL FALLS—The Iron County Youth Camp began mailing its registration forms on March 1. Band Camp registration forms were mailed out and are still available.
Please obtain a registration form and mail it to the Youth Camp address which is located on the registration form.
Senior Citizen Days at the Youth Camp are scheduled for June 11-13 and will provide an opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. Boat rides, arts and crafts, music, archery, river rafting, singing and canoeing are some of the popular activities.
Band Camp is scheduled for the week of June 15-21. During this week, some of the most talented instrumental instructors and musicians in the country will come to Iron County to work with high school and junior high school band students. These specialists will perform for the public at a Thursday evening concert at the Youth Camp beginning at 7:30 p.m. on June 19. Everyone is invited. The Band Camp student concert will be hosted by the Forest Park Public Schools and located at the Forest Park High School gymnasium and will begin at 7:30 p.m. on June 21.
Band Camp application forms are now available at the local school offices or from the local band instructors.
Batawagama Youth Camp is scheduled to begin June 22 and continue on a weekly schedule for five consecutive weeks. During these weeks, campers will enjoy the many outdoor activities that have been so popular for 69 years.
