Four arrested on drug charges PDF Print E-mail

IRON COUNTY—Detectives from the Upper Peninsula Substance Enforcement Team (UPSET) have made several arrests after conducting a number of investigations in Iron County recently. All were arraigned on various drug related charges.
Elizabeth Clements, 29, of Caspian was arrested on Jan. 10 and arraigned in District Court for delivery of an imitation controlled substance. A preliminary examination was waived and the case was bound over to Circuit Court.
Jacob Henning, 29, of Iron River was arrested on Dec. 28, 2013, and arraigned in Iron County District Court for delivery of a schedule 2 controlled substance.
Tammy Leopard, 37, of Gaastra was arrested on Dec. 28, 2013, and arraigned in Iron County District Court for delivery of a schedule 4 controlled substance. A preliminary examination is scheduled for Feb. 3.
Chad Fesnick, 29, of Iron River was arrested on Jan. 14 and was arraigned in Iron County District Court for delivery of heroin, less than 50 grams.

IRON RIVER—The Iron River Police Department, with the assistance of the Michigan State Police K-9 unit, conducted a search of a Iron River residence on Thursday, Jan. 23. 
The search resulted in the arrest of a subject for the possession/use of heroin. No names were released, but officials said further arrests are pending.
