IRON RIVER—During the mandatory registration for the annual Camp Gibbs Predator Hunt, there will be a drawing for a youth 20 gauge shotgun for those youths registering.
The predator hunt will be held Jan. 16-19. Headquarters are at Camp Gibbs Recreation Area west of Iron River along Gibbs City Road.
The mandatory registration will take place from 5 to 7 p.m. on Thursday, Jan. 16, at which time participants will be presented with all rules concerning the hunt. Hunting can begin at 7 p.m. that evening.
A $25 entry fee per hunter will be charged, $15 for youths 16 years old and under. The Thursday evening shotgun drawing will be offered to all youth entrants.
