At the Fitzpatrick deer camp, Braydon, 15, was the first to get his buck while hunting with his grandpa, Gerald (pictured); his dad, Carl; and his uncle, Danny. The 8-pointer was harvested at 6:45 on opening morning, Nov. 15. He was hunting from a blind with a .270 Remington rifle and made the shot, through the heart, at 100 yards. The family hunting partners are from the Iron River area.
