IRON RIVER—Ski Brule opened for skiing and snowboarding on Nov. 8. Open terrain includes Log Jam and Bunny Trails, serviced by Big Bear Chairlift and Bambi Rope Tow. Ski Brule is open Friday through Sundays and closed midweek for snowmaking until Nov. 22, when daily operations begin.
On average, Ski Brule’s ski slopes are open 164 days or roughly five and a half months. Ski Brule opens for snow sports as soon as snowmaking permits and remains open (including Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, Christmas Day, New Year’s Eve, New Year’s Day and Easter) for Midwest skiing and snowboarding through late April and into May.
