MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP --The Mansfield Mini-Mights 4-H Club will be sponsoring the 25th Annual Potato Fest to be held at the Mansfield Township Hall on Saturday, Oct. 12. Dinner will begin at 4:30 p.m. and continue until 6:30 giving everyone a chance to plan dinner around their busy schedules.
As in the past, there will be an array of potato dishes starting with ham and turkey served on potato rolls, gnocchi in either tomato sauce or with sauerkraut, German potato salad, coleslaw, pasta salad, potato salad, twice-baked potatoes, relish tray, chocolate potato cake, potato fluff, other potato goodies and beverage.
The cost is $10 for adults, $5 for children 12 to six years of age and those five and under free.
The 4-H club will be sponsoring a raffle along with guessing games on the weight of the biggest potato and the number of little spuds in the jar. Anyone with a dinner ticket will be placed in the drawing for door prizes.
Everyone is invited to come and enjoy a delicious potato buffet and join in the fun.
