CASPIAN— The Lee LeBlanc Chapter of the Audubon Society will meet at 7 p.m. on Monday, July 8, at the Iron County Museum in Caspian.
The meeting is open to the public and everyone is welcome to attend.
Elizabeth Tiller, Ph.D., and past president of the chapter, will present “Common and Not-So-Common Birds of the Upper Penninsula” in photographs. She is an outstanding birder and photographer. Her pictures show birds that most people see simply as “birds” as “individuals” with their own characteristics and behavior.
Light refreshments will follow.
The society meets the second Monday of each month May through October at 7 p.m. An interesting slate of guest speakers is on the schedule.
