IRON RIVER—Covenant Point’s annual spring Rockin’ Robins program is ready to register eager children of kindergarten and first grade age.
Each year, big buddy volunteers from the community come to help little buddies experience various nature related activities and exploration in the woods. All programming is conducted by quality camp staff and involves both indoor and outdoor learning. A snack and drink are provided at each session.
Dates are three Friday afternoons on May 3, 10 and 17. Children are picked up at Stambaugh Elementary at the end of the school day and then return to Windsor Center parking lot at 5:30 p.m. Transportation limits the number of children who can sign up for each session.
The cost for attending: one session-$15, two sessions-$30, and all three sessions-$40. Registrations forms were given out at Stambaugh Elementary and can be completed and mailed with check to Covenant Point.
A parent can also call Covenant Point at 265-2117 for registration details. Deadline for registration forms with full payment is April 26 and should be sent to the camp.
Covenant Point operates year around nature and high ropes course programs for school and community groups and is located on Hagerman Lake near Iron River.
