Wildlife Unlimited, Inc of Iron County recently received a $1,000 donation to help cover costs in converting a trailer to be retrofitted for disabled hunters. Scott Roehl, Operations Supervisor for the Upper Peninsula Power Company, UPPCO (left) awards $1,000 to Scott Westphal, Wildlife Unlimited of Iron County board member. The trailer conversion cost is estimated to be between $10,000-$12,000. Hunters have been using the trailer and more are scheduled for the upcoming season. The donation was received through UPPCO from the Wisconsin Public Service Foundation, a private, charitable foundation that supports charities and organizations that need financial assistance. The Foundation actively supports quality of life improvements in the communities served by UPPCO and its Integrys Energy Group sister companies. It is funded by stockholders of Integrys Energy Group, not by utility customers of its subsidiaries.
