IRON RIVER--The IronLine race committee would like to invite anyone from the Iron County area to the group’s November planning meetings.
Meetings will take place on Friday, Nov. 9, at 5:30 p.m. at Calvary Chapel, Iron River (Old Polish Church on Fifth Ave.) and on Nov. 28 at 5:30 p.m. (location to be announced).
“We are less than three months from race weekend,” said a spokesman, “and have a lot to discuss from volunteer opportunities to sponsorships to trails and much more. We would love more community feedback and involvement, so please consider this a warm welcome.”
November is shaping up to be the biggest month yet with many details to be covered for the event, which takes place over the weekend of Jan. 18-19.
“Remember, our goal is ‘community vitality’ and making Iron River and Iron County an even more exciting place in the winter.”
