IRON RIVER—NorthStar Health System has announced the retirement of CEO/President Bruce Rampage, effective Nov. 16.
Rampage has ben NorthStar’s CEO since December 2007.
He oversaw the renovation of NorthStar Hospital and is credited with recruiting new physicians, improving customer service, enhancing quality and changing the corporate culture.
“NorthStar’s facilities, employees and physicians are well positioned to meet the challenges of an ever changing healthcare industry,” said Rampage.
“Bruce has done an outstanding job as CEO,” said NorthStar Board Chairman Mark Tousignant.
“He recruited and mentored Connie Koutouzos, who is now a well-qualified CEO. We wish Bruce the very best and are extremely grateful for his five years of leadership.”
Connie Koutouzos has been named as the new CEO/president.
During the past several years, she has made significant contributions to the organization, most recently serving as the NorthStar’s chief operating officer.
