Greg Kramer of the Classic Farm Machinery of Iron County hands a sheaf of oats to Miss Iron County Alex Nelson at the Miners Day family picnic held at the Iron County Museum in Caspian Sept. 2, and sponsored by The Miners State Bank as part of its 100-year anniversary. The threshing machine demonstration was among several activities held at the museum during the family picnic. The Ellis Champion thresher, from the 1800s, was donated to the museum by Clarence and Signe Lindahl. It was originally owned by three homesteaders in Beechwood around the turn of the century and was last used in the early 1950s.Check ou the special section in this week's Reporter - "A Day at the Museum".
