For a pie well ate, Bob Black, Iron County Chamber of Commerce director and the coordinator of the End-of-Summer Blues Fest, presented blues-berry, pie-eating contest winner, Jacob Hill of Bessemer, with his pie-plate trophy. Jacob is the grandson of Iron County resident Virginia LaFountain. The family was one of many who attended the first Blues Fest in Alpha on Aug. 25.
