IRON RIVER—When the annual “Meet the Wykons” night takes place Tuesday, Aug. 14, at 6 p.m., it will also be time to meet Nelson Field’s new scoreboard.

 The Wykons’ home field has a new scoreboard, and it will be unveiled and dedicated during the event. Representatives from NorthStar Health System, Bellin Health and the West Iron County schools will be on hand for the event. Donations from NorthStar and Bellin made the new scoreboard possible.
 The public is invited to attend. “We are very excited and proud of this new scoreboard,” said a school spokesman. “Please join us.”
