MANSFIELD TOWNSHIP—The Mansfield Memories Committee will present the Mansfield Music Fest and Dance Saturday, June 30, at the Mansfield Township Hall, located at 2804 M-69 between Sagola and Crystal Falls.
The afternoon will begin at 2 p.m. with open jamming on the grounds.
“Bring your instrument, music and a lawn chair,” said organizers.
Beginning at 3, the indoor stage and dance floor will open, with entertainment being provided by several local groups.
At 6, the Fairland Bluegrass Band from Brussels, Wis., will take the stage for your listening pleasure.
The Fairland Bluegrass Band has been wowing audiences and getting rave reviews statewide since the summer of 2008.
With heartfelt ballads, to foot-stomping fiddle and banjo tunes, the Fairland Bluegrass Band has taken its own blend of traditional, contemporary and original bluegrass to some of the biggest festivals in the Midwest.
Admission to the festival will be $5, with those 12 and under admitted free.
Food and refreshments will be available on the grounds with no carry-ins allowed.
All proceeds will go towards maintaining the Mansfield Pioneer Church.
