All-school challenge part of RAIC fund-raiser PDF Print E-mail

IRON RIVER—The third annual RAIC (Recreation Association of Iron County) golf fundraiser and all-school challenge will be held on Friday, July 20, at Iron River Country Club.
 The event has a 1 p.m. shotgun start, with check-in starting at noon. 

 The RAIC, Windsor Recreational Authority and Iron County Economic Development Council are working together with the goal of adding a multi-recreational facility to the area.
 The fundraiser, being presented by Global Response Corp., is a three-person scramble—you can register as a team or as an individual, and organizers will put you on a team.
 Registration is $210 per team ($195 for Iron River Country Club members) and includes golf, cart and a pizza party, which will be open to the public after the golf. Participants and sponsors will be admitted to the pizza party free.
 First and second place prizes will be given, along with a random draw.
 An award will also be given to the local school with the best alumni participation. Players are encouraged to wear their school colors.
