Jake Divine hits the finish line, giving Forest Park a win in the 3200-meter relay at North Dickinson May 1. Other members of the team are Mark Hallmann, Lance Mongar and Derek Aberly.
FELCH—Both of Forest Park’s track teams ran away with team honors during a five-team meet held at North Dickinson High School on May 1.
It was the Trojans’ only competition last week. This week, they take part in invitationals at Norway on May 7 and at Rapid River on May 10.
The girls team had wins in 10 of the events. Ana Cornelia was a double winner, taking the 100 (14.27) and 200 (29.62).  Sierra Sholander and Mary Grandahl were parts of three winning relays, and Audrey Sholander, Cornelia and Becca McCole ran on two winning teams.
Seconds went to Audrey Sholander (100 high hurdles), Isaacson (1600), Grandahl (400), Ponchaud (3200). In the 1600 and 3200 races, Ponchaud and Isaacson ran together all race, crossing the finish line at practically the same time.
Thirds were earned by Georgie Dohl (100), Kelly Hendrickson (1600) and Shaina Bortolini (long jump).
